WordCamp Larisa 2024 happend, pretty amazing event not gonna lie!
There were very interesting topics covered, from personal/company branding, to marketing, to forking () the GPL way and even making user's search experience better. All the presentations were amazing and the topics that were covered were so interesting that i lost track of time; talks that were supposed to be 30-45 minutes long felt to be 15 minutes long.
On arrivng at Joist we were given our badges and a bundle of gifts (An event themed bag, T-Shirts, pens, a squeeze ball, mousepads, coupons and most importantly stickers) for which im very greatfull. After getting the gifts, we got right infront of the sponsors' den in which companies had stands and some of them even had giveaways. All the companies were offering a great amount of services around hosting, domains (very tempted to buy then and there a domain for the site not gonna lie), marketing, eCommerce, website design and more.
I mostly attended the presentations on Track 1 and not that many workshops since the topics covered were a bit more interesting than the workshops. Overall, the event was amazing and i feel very lucky to have been there, meeting new people and unlocking new opportunities.
Next event im attending is: Game Developer's Meetup, 2024-11-16.
Contextual update: Sadly, I was not able to attend 'Game Developer's Meetup' due to the fact that I got sick ;-;
